Project Description
Aria was diagnosed April 22, 2019 with Acute Lymphoblastic T-cell lymphoma. In the first two weeks, she was hospitalized to remove fluid from the chest cavity that was caused by a big tumour between her heart and left lung. Time can be very long for a 3-year-old when isolated to a room.
When we heard about iKare4Kids, we applied and were contacted very quickly to arrange delivery of Aria’s very own iPad. Aria received her iPad and was very happy :)
She continues to use it daily as she has long days of chemo. She also enjoys watching movies and playing games when she’s tired and wants to stay in bed. We as a family feel very fortunate to have received the iPad as at this time we couldn’t afford to buy her one.
