Project Description
This is the Elias family. Shown is mom Lency Chacko and son Felix (11 yrs). Other children in this family are Feaba (5 yrs) and Alex who was born extremely premature in April 2019. Alex has spent most of his life in the NICU’s at the Royal Alexander Hospital and Stollery Children’s Hospital.
The Elias Family have moved to Edmonton, but were living in Fort Vermillion, AB when Alex was born. Moving was necessary for Alex’s care. The iPad the family received from iKare4Kids is used as a learning tool for the older siblings and helps the family keep in touch with other family members, updating them on Alex’s progress.
